Rotary Wine Tasting

“Buon Appetito!” The flyer states, and with good reason! An evening of fine wines dancing in concert with specially paired foods awaits the guests on Friday, May 6th at the Memorial Center in Libby. The annual wine tasting event is the main fundraiser for our local chapter of the Rotary Club, and it gives them the tools they need to go out and perform all of their good works throughout the year, both locally, and abroad. If you find yourself asking, “What does the Rotary Club do here exactly”, rest assured that it is not a short list at all! Their current list of projects includes:

Above all, the motto, “Service above self” is apparent in their many works. When the doors open at 6 p.m., the evening begins, welcoming you into a world of epicurean delights catered by Manon Hughes, and fantastic prizes. As you browse the selection of silent and live auctions, the generosity of Kootenai Country Montana truly shines through. It is no wonder the 240-tickets sell out every year! So treat yourself, treat your community, and help the Rotary Club of Kootenai Valley in their efforts to make this a truly special place, where we all work to get better together.
